Ormonde Jayne is an independent British luxury niche fragrance house founded in London in 2000 by Linda Pilkington. The brand originated from Pilkington’s passion for artisanal craft and scented candle-making, which led to a bespoke commission from Chanel Fine Jewellery. Following this early success, she opened the brand's flagship boutique on London’s prestigious Old Bond Street in 2001, establishing Ormonde Jayne as a pioneer of modern British perfumery. The house's name combines the founder's middle name, Jayne, with the name of her former London street, Ormonde Terrace.
