Description: Launched to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Maison, Orphéon is a "Woody Chypre" tribute to a legendary late-night bar of the same name that sat next to the original Diptyque boutique in Paris. The scent is designed to capture the atmosphere of that 1960s jazz club: the swirling tobacco smoke (represented by powdery notes), the polished wood of the bar counters, and the gin-and-tonics of the creative crowd that gathered there. It is a highly versatile, "clean-yet-moody" fragrance that feels both vintage and modern, often described as smelling like a sophisticated, powdery cloud with an aromatic, botanical edge.
