Description:
À la Rose (2014) is a tribute to femininity and a declaration of love for the rose. Unlike many heavy or "vintage" rose scents, this fragrance is remarkably fresh, airy, and luminous. It was inspired by the portrait of Marie Antoinette by Louise Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun, where the Queen is holding a Centifolia rose. Each bottle contains the equivalent of 400 roses (250 Centifolia roses from Grasse and 150 Damascena roses from Bulgaria), resulting in a scent that feels like a dewy, sun-drenched bouquet rather than a dusty perfume.
Top Notes: Damascena Rose, Calabrian Bergamot, and California Orange
Heart Notes: Violet and Magnolia
Base Notes: Centifolia Rose, Musk, and Cedarwood -
